Honestly, ÉRMOSA exists because I learned the hard way that skin can become overwhelmed really quickly. When I was younger, I became so caught up in skincare that I started damaging my own skin trying to make it “better.” I was using too much, constantly changing products, over-exfoliating, overdoing everything, and I didn’t realize until later that my skin was never asking for all of that in the first place.
The hardest part is that I already had good skin. I just didn’t appreciate it until I damaged my barrier and triggered the acne I still deal with to this day.
I think that experience is what made me become so passionate about helping people understand their skin instead of fighting it.
Along the way, I became deeply obsessed with understanding skin, barrier health, hydration, corrective treatments, and why skin reacts the way it does.
Because now more than ever, skincare feels exhausting.
Everywhere I looked, people were being told they needed stronger products, more actives, and longer routines. Sometimes, they’re making their skin worse while trying to help it.
I don’t believe healthy skin should come from fear, frustration, or constantly feeling like you’re not doing enough. I believe corrective skincare can still feel gentle. That barrier health matters. That hydration matters. That guidance matters.
I wanted ÉRMOSA to feel like relief in an industry that constantly asks for more.
